The world of Pokemon today is a lot different from the world of yesterday. How were Pokemon used when they were first being discovered as partners? What exactly were they being used for in the first place?
The first war of the world began when the humans in the earliest of days began to mistreat Pokemon. The Pokemon themselves revolted, and many species were wiped out. The humans succeeded in keeping the Pokemon at bay, but they paid the price - the Pokemon were mistrusting. They demanded a treaty, and the humans promised that they would be treated justly, as equals. As partners.
The humans and the Pokemon lived in peace for many years, until soon, a tyrannical group called Septus rose into power. It was in the days of the Black Plague, making it easy to influence the weak minds of the common people. They convinced them all that the Plague itself was caused by the dark and evil Pokemon, such as Rattata, Ghastly, and Houndour. They soon banned Dark and Ghost Pokemon, along with Rattata and Raticate.
Some members of Rusei stood up to Septus' tyrannical rule. Calling themselves the Rusei Knights, they tried their best to stop the group's rise to power by keeping the banned Pokemon along with trying to fight off the team.
Many legendary Pokemon noticed their plight, and soon began to take sides. Was a war about to occur? You have the power to change history.
So, welcome to all new members once again. Please be sure to check back here a lot - we've got our first activity check coming up soon, and a new promo will be opening up sometime in December.
Yes, the Ban's still in effect. We need Septus members. Two more and we should be good.

Here is where all of your in character keeptrack threads will be located, such as your character's cave, bag, and plot pages. Plot pages are optional, but both character bags and character caves are highly reccommended for you to be able to keep track of your character's Pokemon.
Here is where you basically can have fun and do whatever you'd like. Areas to advertise, affiliate, introduce yourself, post fun games or silly threads, and inform staff of any leave of absences should all be put in their appropriate sub-forum areas.
The first town you will encounter, and the first area that Septus gained control over. This town is extremely small, and it's population is limited. It was hit hard with the plague, making the town extremely run down and dirty. The streets are disgusting and lined with wastes, human and nonhuman alike. All in all, it is an extremely bleak place.
A small gravel pathway that leads to the Asmodai Caverns. Many weak Pokemon dwell here, but all banned types tend to stay as far away from this area as possible, because Septus' team controls the whole of Appleation Town. Many trees line the edge of the path, making it a pleasant walkway.
The first obstacle that comes your way when you embark on your journey. There is a small guild of Psychic Pokemon that stay near the entrance of the cave so that your Pokemon can be healed. Inside, the cavern is still bright, but it might be a bit more difficult to see if you don't have a Pokemon that knows a Fire type move to light up your pathway.
A huge, bustling city filled with all different kinds of underground tunnels. This city is still free from the reign of Septus, making it a popular Rusei Knight hideout. Rusei Knight's base is also located here, along with the first Gym to ever be erected, the Didug Gym.
The second pathway you will encounter. It is much longer than the first, and much gloomier as well. It seems almost as if many Dark Pokemon tend to reside here, making its aura slightly dismal and scary. This area is a refuge for most outcast Pokemon, so finding a Murkrow here would be common.
A much small city in comparison to Didug City, Gegregation City has recently followed the footsteps of Didug and opened its own Gym. This area is almost completely surounded by water, making it slightly hard to get to, but not impossible if you follow the ragged route of the Second Pathway. This is also a major area for ships to dock in.
This is an entirely separate route in getting away from Gegregation City. You need to have a Water Type Pokemon to be able to swim across these calm and mild waters, even though they are tame. It is extremely short, and you will be able to see land approaching as soon as you first hit the water.
Meglami Island is extremely small - only 3 miles in length. There is no Gym here, but there are many other helpful areas - for example, this is the first area you should see when you are trying to boost your Pokeballs with more psychic energy. There is a small guild of Psychic Pokemon that are located here just for that purpose, and you can recharge your items for a small fee.
The second water route is almost five times as long to get across as the first, and just about five times as hard as well. These waters are known for their treacherous waves and strong currents, making it seem like it takes forever just to get across. Many storms hit this area too, but there are a few small sandbar-like islands that you can rest on while traveling.
The city of Bakugo is extremely large, even larger than Didug. It is the most important and powerful area in Rusei, and that is why it contains Septus' headquarters. There is a Gym here as well, but the Grass-type trainer that heads it is much more strict when it comes to using banned Pokemon.
The third pathway is filled with large areas of grass, making it abundant with Pokemon. It is a pleasant walk, especially if it is away from the loud and bustling city of Bakugo. It is extremely peaceful, but that also means that whenever another trainer crosses it, all of the wild Pokemon will know.
A very dense and dark forest is located near the end of the third pathway. Again, a group of Psychics will heal your Pokemon before you head out into the forest. The forest contains all sorts of Pokemon, and a few banned ones tend to hang around inside its deep and dark depths.
The sunny city of Lydia is Rusei's most prized area. Though not as powerful as Bakugo, its abundance in natural beauty makes it a very popular residential area. There is a Gym here, with a Leader that is partial to the Fire Type. A large bonfire roars in the middle of the city, symbolizing fire's natural beauty and the city's unity.
This is a long expanse of empty land, they offer everything from weekly festivals, to a serene place to play games, battle, and ride Pokemon. This place is pleasant--but like most businesses dislikes customers in the Rusei knights.
All completed promo threads will go here. Promos occur about once a month as a publicity stunt, and are located in the news and announcements section of the forum.
