Septus

This group is the strongest in all of Rusei, and their influence stretches far across the region. Bent upon dominating all corners of the area (including other regions) and maintaining the firm belief that Pokemon were brought upon this earth to serve.

This group has the most powerful leaders in the world and many of the most infamous nobles and richer citizens backing their actions. Their leader has become a symbol of power and is well respected amongst the people of Rusei, regardless of what side they stand on.

Members of this organization typically follow one word: money. And Septus has plenty of it. However, in spite of their efforts to better the human populations of Rusei and unite the people, they are misunderstood and seen as cruel. In the past they’ve taken action in the government, pressuring the leaders of the region into making hard, and often questionable decisions. In recent years, it has led to horrible consequences, especially when they interfered after an outbreak of the plague in local regions.

In an attempt to keep the disease from humans, the group made under the table payments to the government to ban certain Pokemon (such as Rattata and Raticate) from the Region. The people rebelled- trainers that spoke out against the law were thrown in jail and their Pokemon were exiled. Some became fugitives, and when caught, Septus would decide their punishment.

Today, the organization has a vast expanse of members and followers. They’ve received more power than the should have. Whispers go round about plans to take control of the Rusei Region and place their leader, as the country’s. The Rusei Knights are the only nuisance that seems to be in the way; as the Rusei Knights are the only ones brave enough to speak out without fear of consequences. And recently, when a rebellion of Ghost and Dark Pokemon broke out in the South, fighting against the government’s rule, Septus stepped in to silence it. The Rusei Knights were appalled and horrified. Hundreds of Ghost and Dark Pokemon that had the courage to stand up against them were driven out of the country, captured, placed in cages or stowed away. There were even rumors of executions.

Septus denied these allegations.

But all men understand the complication of government. When you control the flow of society, you can lie all you want.
